Dulce Perkins Promoted to Executive Director of LatinoBuilt Association

PORTLAND, Oregon, Nov 1, 2024—LatinoBuilt is thrilled to announce the promotion of Dulce Perkins from Program Manager to Executive Director after nearly five years of dedicated service to the organization. Dulce Perkins strongly aligns with LatinoBuilt’s vision and has consistently committed to our mission, making this promotion well-deserved.

Dulce Perkins joined LatinoBuilt in 2020 during the early stages of its formation as a Community Engagement Manager and has since played a pivotal role in our programming, specifically the management of the pre-apprenticeship program, where she graduated the first bilingual cohort of practically all women. Her passion for empowering the Latino construction community and drive for excellence and teamwork have set her apart and demonstrated the servant leadership we’ve been seeking. Grounded in our core values of community, advocacy, education, and empowerment, Dulce is poised to lead LatinoBuilt into a future where every individual is uplifted and empowered to achieve their full potential.

In her new role as Executive Director, Perkins will oversee strategic initiatives, lead organizational growth, and continue to champion diversity and inclusion within the construction industry.
